Build a home. . .
Teach a class. . .
Start a revolution. . .
Free the mind. . .
Heal the body. . .
Talkin’ evolution. . .
Song lyrics from “Just Begun” by Jay Electronica
Context: We know that the struggle for educator retention is ongoing, very costly and directly impacts our students. This is especially true in our most challenging school districts. The perspective, skills and passion of the next generation will inevitably reshape the world as we know it. The question is “will millennial roots have a chance to grow deep enough into the soil of public education to survive the storms to come?”
